ALTEC 436 (featured)

A famed Vari MU compressor with similarities to the UA 175 but a sonic characteristic unto itself. The 436 is highly regarded as a vintage favorite in recording studios around the world. Drip 660 Fairchild Time Constant Grayhill Switch Model

This version of the FTC pcb has been formatted to fit the 175 case designed by www.diy-racked.com. This model uses a high performance grayhill switch. The FTC come fully assembled and ready to install. (learn more)

Drip 660 Fairchild Time Constant

This pcb comes fully assembled including a 12 position rotary switch attached directly to the pcb. All components are as found on the original time constant including 5 high quality ATOM capacitors. All resistors are 2 and  3 watt metal film. (learn more)

Drip Opto 4

The new OPTO 4 printed circuit board this special edition pcb has been designed for the many who have requested a higher performance pcb in the OPTO line. On a design level, we have pulled out all the stops, from a larger format pcb /gold plating and red solder mask. The new Version 4 incorporates the highly effective design of the Opto 3, and has been updated with several new features, including the use of Dual T4B optical cells. (learn more)

Drip 175

Drip Electronics is proud to announce the release of the new 175 Limiting Amplifier pcb. This new design is identical to the 1965 schematic but has been laid out utilizing Drip's elegant design ethic - and contains more direct routing than the original design, providing  a quiet and very stable end product. Opto T4B Cell

For the opto compressor to work, you will need to purchase an optical cell (also found on the original la2a), this is called the t4b. It is made using two cadmium photo resistors and an Electro-luminescent panel. (learn more)
